As the last few weeks have been so busy, I have had only a few small glimpses of the outside world. Now that things have slowed down a bit here I have begun to catch up on the news.
When I read this article it made it clear to me something was wrong.
Then a little while later I saw this article and it really started to worry me.
Then I read the redux of what everybody had to say. Can’t say it stirred warm and fuzzy feelings inside of me either.
Then I found this, Bush links hurricane, Sept. 11 attacks from the AP. Surely you are joking Mr. President. You can’t possibly be so single minded that even terrorists are associated with hurricanes. If our response to hurricane Katrina was to be the model of how we react to future terrorist events, I say we should fold now.
Completely Unrelated but Timely This really gets me going, Roberts Says U.S. Constitution Covers Privacy Rights. I would challenge Mr. Roberts to point out where exactly the constitution declares “privacy” to be a right. Last time I checked it was never explictly stated anywhere in the constitution.
These days it is difficult for me to say that I am proud to be an American. I can only hope for a brighter future than these past several years.
