So I haven’t updated in a while and you may have guessed from the lack of posts that I have returned to Olin (and you would be right). As usual things are extremely busy and I always find myself trying to squeeze every last minute out of the day (which leads to fewer posts).
One of the first things that I found when I returned to campus is that my car had a flat tire. After pumping it up with the tinny pump that came in my emergency kit it seemed to hold air. However I checked the tire again today and it seems low. I guess it’s a slow leak that will need to be taken care of at some near point future. Ugh.
On a more positive note, I think I have finally found a schedule that balances both my workload and my need to do other things. We’ll have to see if that continues. Sometimes it’s hard to continue to work when most of my friends have a greatly reduced workload but I’m glad I am finishing this semester and not next.
One more thing before I go, over the past few weeks I have had a number of gigs that literally fall into my lap with little or no work on my part. The fact that I got these gigs isn’t odd, but it’s the fact that they found me that is. Last semester when I was actively looking for work, I couldn’t find any. Now that I don’t have free time it appears in abundance. I chalk that one up to, when you aren’t looking for something you will find it. Makes it difficult to get what you want, maybe I should try some reverse psychology.
