Last Friday was an amazing night (after a less than amazing week). I was a bit stressed that I hadn’t prepared for Halloween until a couple of hours before the dance. Luckily my costume ended up working out really well. The one thing I have learned about making one’s self look ridiculous is that going half-way really sucks. You just feel stupid because its like you kinda did it but not really. I feel like it is better to do nothing at all or go all the way. This is one of the rare moments that I am for extremism.
Unfortunately, it decided to snow on Saturday. It made me sad because I had been so stressed all week and cold gross weather doesn’t cheer me up. Additionally, I had already decided my Saturday would be my official no work day in order to save whatever sanity I had left. Since it was gross, I ended up hiding in my room all day with all of my lights turned on and the shade down. I managed to work on O’Snap for a little while but more on that in a later post.
Thankfully Sunday and Monday have been much better weather wise. This week should be a little less stressful and I am looking forward to the big conversation on Wednesday.
