Today was sunny and nice. After taking a two hour long test, I went outside and ran to the aquaduct. It feels like it is finally spring here. After these last few months I didn’t think it would come before I left Olin for the spring.

Didn’t accomplish too much else today. Read some more human interface design material which was cool. I registered for Flickr in hopes of solving my photo posting woes. Tied up loose ends and managed my task list. I still have my math assignment looming over my head and now I have to try to figure out the mess that is registration. Hopefully my meeting with my advisor will clear things up a bit.

I read the interview with Mark Shuttleworth. He seems like a pretty decent guy.

I had a total blast this weekend. My friends kidnapped me for my birthday this weekend and we went up to New Hampshire. There was a really awesome frozen lake and we walked all over it. That was the first time I had been on a frozen lake. After we got extremely cold we decided we should come back in so we did. After that Lara and I drove around the surrounding area and took pictures. I got a few sweet ones. When we returned from our drive dinner was already well underway. As dinner was being prepared we learned that a large snowstorm was coming in on Monday so we had to live Sunday night.

The trip back was pretty nice. I really don’t mind car trips like I used to when I was a kid. I worked pretty hard all of Monday trying to tie up loose ends. We had a soccer game that went pretty badly (my left shin is still in pain) but after I got back I had another suprise party. So I am pretty much partied out. Unfortunately now I have to go back to real work. Why can’t everyday be my birthday?

NP: Hoobastank, Unaffected (a birthday present)

Well I have been doing a poor job of attempting to post everyday but all I can do is continue to try. What I really need is a specific chunk of time set aside in my schedule which would allow me to write an entry. A few exciting things have happened since I last posted.

Monday night my intramural soccer team (which I am the proud captain of) finally beat a Babson team. The score was high (like 8-7) and it went into over time. Luckily we had an amazing shot 10 seconds into overtime, so the overtime itself was painless. After the game I hurried back to get ready for dinner. Lara and I went out to Red Sauce for Valentines. Red Sauce is a really good italian restaurant and there was almost no one there. I have to go back there sometime.

Tuesday not much exciting happened.

Wednesday I went to Linux World in Boston. I even got a chance to pick up a gnome 2.9.91 CD with my splash screen on it. I was really excited. I also got some other free goodies. I came back and then had lunch with someone explaining the extreme blue program which sounds really awesome. I can’t wait for next summer. I ordered Dominos in for dinner which was nice and got HL-2 from my parents for my birthday!

Today I went to class and then went to track which was pretty fun. There is not much going on tonight except project work. Hopefully I will be productive.
