    No offense, but your company sounds a little creepy. I mean, reading people’s state-of-mind as they watch ads and play video games. Talk about fine tuning the experience.

    That’s really interesting. I had two thoughts. The first is–you categorize this post in “Life”? Do you not separate “Work” and “Life”? :)

    Second, as Mark always points out, it is well-established that people’s entertainment budgets are fixed. In other words, the amount people spend on movies, music, games, etc, tends to be fixed. When a new entertainment outlet comes along that people like, they spend less on other entertainment outlets (as opposed to increasing the total amount they spend.) So your company’s technology creates an interesting question…can it actually make people spend more entertainment dollars, as opposed to just taking business away from other entertainment outlets that use less successful advertising and content? By creating a more pleasing experience, I think it actually has a shot at grabbing more total dollars (and certainly should give some companies the ability to grab a larger slice of the pie.)
