So I flew home this morning. The funny thing about the security lines at airports is that the less time you leave to get through them, the longer that they take. The last 5 times I have been in the airport, I have basically walked through security as I showed up 2 hours ahead of my scheduled flight. Today I decided to show up only 1 and 1/2 hours early, apparently the TSA gods knew that and caused me to wait in line for 1/2 an hour. Alas. The rest of the travel experience was uneventful (well except for the part where they tested my shoes for explosives).
Tomorrow I am headed to Baltimore to get on a cruise to the Carribean. Hopefully there will be no pirates and that we manage to avoid Chris.
